Hank Williams' birthday is coming around again and we have a great line up of guests this year including Lynne Hanson, Pat Moore, and members of bands such as The Hammerheads, The Dusty Drifters and The John Henry's. It's always packed so come early on Friday, September 17th to Irene's Pub, 885 Bank St.

We also have a brand new CD called Louisiana Love Bug. It was recorded and produced in Louisiana by Dirk Powell and the band is made up of some full blooded Cajun musicians so it has that special feel that you just can't pull off unless you grew up on Gumbo and Jambalaya. I think it's something to do with the heat and the spice.

The new CD is available around town at Compact Music, CD Warehouse and The Folklore Centre. Even better, come buy it directly from us at one of our shows!
